A Brief Blog to announce a Big Date: The 31st of May in the Year of Our Lord 2008 will not only be the Feast of the Visitation of Our Lord and the twelfth anniversary of my ordination, but, as the Lord so wills, the day of the holy matrimony of my daughter, DoRena, and Mr. Sam Wirgau of Fort Wayne, Indiana. They are hoping and planning to have the wedding at the seminary.
My Beanie tells me that, with both a ring on her finger and a date set, she is now officially engaged, according to Dr. Laura. Well, I already had it figured out last week with the ring thing, but I am also glad to have the date narrowed down to a particular day. I couldn't be happier.
