I do know a few people whose nieces or nephews are older than they are, but I see your child isn't joining that group.

praises arise for the Lord's safe delivery of mother and baby from the dangers of childbearing.

It's hard to think of my dad as I grandpa, or myself as an uncle, but I'm excited! I can't wait to see my two newborn relatives next week! :-D

Congratulations, Grandpa Pastor Stuckwisch!

(It's hard to think of you as that old!)

Actually, I feel plenty old (some days more than others) ;-) But thinking of myself as a Grandpa is rather surrealistic. It's a grand, wonderful feeling, but hard to wrap my head around.

Thanks, everyone, for your thoughts and kind congratulations. We are feeling very grateful for everything these days!
