Married 40 years, my wife and I have had ten children born to us (six boys, four girls); we have another three sons and four daughters by marriage, a son who went ahead of us to heaven from the womb, twenty-four grandchildren and counting. I was ordained in 1996, and have been a pastor of Emmaus since then. Since 2022, however, I serve full-time as the president of the Indiana District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
